At the invitation of the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS), Jenny Town, Senior Fellow at the Stimson Center and Director of its 38 North Program, visited Ulaanbaatar from June 4 to 12. During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was established to initiate academic cooperation between the two institutes. The MoU was signed by G. Ganbold, Director of NISS, and Jenny Town on behalf of the Stimson Center. As part of the visit, the two sides exchanged views on future institutional collaboration and convened a roundtable discussion on regional security issues.
